How we built this.
This report draws on primary research including structured interviews with founders, investors, and policymakers across Nigeria's tech ecosystem; secondary data from regulatory bodies, multilateral institutions, and industry associations; and proprietary data analysis by the TechMoonshot Research team in partnership with DataFestAfrica. All data points were verified through at least two independent sources. The report covers the period January 2024 – March 2025 unless otherwise stated.

How we built this.
This report was produced at World Bank/IMF institutional depth, drawing on structured surveys of Muslim tech professionals and founders across Nigeria, qualitative interviews, and secondary data from government sources, industry bodies, and academic literature. Research was conducted jointly by TechMoonshot Research and Muslim Tech Expo between January and April 2025. All data was anonymised unless explicit consent was given for attribution.
